Howard Finster (1916 - 2001) a folk artist and Baptist preacher from Summerville, Georgia. He is renowned for his creation of Paradise Gardens, for making over 46,000 works of art, for designing album covers in the 1980s for R.E.M. and Talking Heads, and more.
