Sorrento, Lamar

Lamar Sorrento is a painter & guitar player from Memphis, Tenn., who paints the many musicians whom he admires. When he isn't painting musicians he's playing music. Lately, he's painted a ten foot tall guitar for the Rock 'n' Roll Hall Of Fame, cover art for the Alejandro Escovedo tribute cd "Por Vida," and contributed two paintings of Johnny Cash to Bill Miller's new book, "Cash: An American Man."
