Jon Langford recently completed a series of illustrations for a new edition of Arthur Machen's first book The Chronicle of Clemendy. Machen was a Welsh author and mystic of the 1890s and early 20th century who is closely associated with the village of Caerleon in South Wales where Langford was born in 1957. He is best known for his influential supernatural, fantasy, and horror fiction. A limited edition of signed and numbered prints of these illustrations are available here - individual prints on paper $130 each and a limited number of complete portfolio sets (10 prints) for $900.

An edition of 200 hardback books has just been published by Three Impostors Press and is available from them: "Our new edition of The Chronicle of Clemendy has just been published (March 2022), in a limited, numbered, annotated hardback edition of 200 copies. The book is illustrated by Newport-born artist Jon Langford, there is an introduction to the text by Catherine Fisher, and a reminiscence of his friendship with the artist by Marc Riley. For more details and to purchase the book, go to our Publications and Shop pages. To mark the release of the book there is an exhibition at Abergavenny Castle Museum of Jon Langford's illustrations, together with those by John Selway and Pete Williams for our previous editions of The Great God Pan and The Three Impostors. This will continue until December 2022, and will also include some examples of rare books by Machen and other Machen-related artefacts."
