Founded in 1995, the gallery has its roots in folk & outsider art from the US, but now features art by many contemporary artists—self-taught and trained— from around the world. Several of them are internationally known musicians as well.
We're open Thursday & Friday afternoons from noon -3:00 and Saturday afternoons from 12:00 - 5:00, as well as by appointment. Our entire inventory is not on our website. Please feel free to email or call us to ask if we have more work available by an artist.
Every piece of art displayed on our website is also available in our gallery. While we make every effort to keep the inventory on our website up-to-the-minute, it is always possible that a piece of art will remain on our site for a short period after it is sold from the gallery. In the unlikely event that you purchase a piece from our website that is no longer available, we will cancel the transaction and you will not be charged.Also, while we try really really hard to make sure that everything on our site is available and priced correctly, we do occasionally make mistakes. So we reserve the right to cancel any transaction and refund the full amount back to your card.
In the gallery we accept checks, money orders, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover. Here on our website we accept MasterCard, Visa & American Express and PayPal.
There is a ground shipping charge for each item that appears on the checkout page. We usually ship international packages through the postal service.
If you purchase multiple items our website will charge you full shipping for each piece, but if you email us we can often consolidate and ship for a lower cost.
You may return anything within 14 days for a full refund of the price of the art. You may return art for gallery credit up to 30 days after purchase. The art must be in original condition and you must pay shipping charges. After 30 days we can't accept returns.
Our usual terms are 1/4 down, 1/4 per month, although we can sometimes be flexible. If you want to pay for something on layaway you’ll need to contact us directly about it.
We choose artists whose work we think fits well with the work we're already showing and with whom we want to have a long-term relationship. We do love to look at new art and we check out every submission we get, but we're pretty cautious about it and don't add new artists very often. And because the internet makes it so easy, we get a lot of submissions. So feel free to email or snail mail submissions -- either jpegs or a link to your site will do -- just be warned: we try to respond to them all, eventually, but we can’t promise that we will. Finally, please note that we only accept photo submissions. Please don't bring your art to the gallery. Email your submissions to email@example.com. Thanks!
