Sally Van Horn is a self-taught artist based in Austin who works with ink and watercolor on a tiny scale. Her favorite subject is the West Texas landscape, including not only geographical features but plants and animals as well. The practice of capturing the spirit of that place, a place that cracked open her imagination when she first moved to Texas a decade ago, remains a daily ritual.
