Friday Party At ABGB

We opened the gallery in August of 1995. When the next SXSW rolled around, March 1996, we decided to throw a party. We had a dirt parking lot out back and some friends in bands, someone introduced us to a new record label from Chicago,  Bloodshot Records, who brought in some of their bands, and we had a party. It grew into a thing, and here it is 2026 and we're doing it again. We no longer have a dirt parking lot, we've upgraded to a proper venue with a proper stage and PA, food, drink, and indoor plumbing. Admission is still free. Come join us.

Admission is FREE, although there is a suggested donation of $10 at the door. 100% of that goes to pay the musicians.
